All drivers must meet the renting location’s minimum age requirements, have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and present a major credit card in his/her own name at the time of rental.

Advance requires written proof in English of liability insurance covering injury to third persons or their property and collision and comprehensive insurance covering any Advance vehicle while on rent. Written proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number

Renter and any authorized driver(s) must have a valid driver’s license in their own name. The driver’s license must be valid for the entire rental period. In addition, international renters/authorized driver’s must have a valid driver’s license from their country of origin. A valid international driver’s permit will be required if license of origin is not in roman alphabet, and valid passport must be presented.

Advance Rent-A-Car may perform a driver’s license check and may deny a rental car based on a negative driving record.

Local rental and state restrictions may apply. Under the terms of the rental agreement, the rental vehicle will be confined to a certain area and that area will be defined on the rental agreement. Most vehicles are confined to the state in which they are rented. Sometimes that area is not attractive to numerous rentals and the confinements may be expanded to a larger radius. Please view individual location policies for clarification.

Please refer to specific location policy to verify that credit cards are accepted. Changing payment method at the end of the rental is at the discretion of the location. Rental policies, deposit requirements and procedures vary by location and may not be available at all locations.
